Choke cable

Post by Peetee »

Any ideas on how to get a choke cable outer away from the back of the dashboard? :-?

You have to remove the securing nut (behind the dash) which goes over the threaded part, then it should just pull out.

you'll need to get the glovebox out - passenger side. It's probably held in by a couple of screws - it was on mine, at least.

Then, you'll be able to see the chocke cable, and work out what size it is.

Probably 3/4" should sort it, but have a selection handy. You might be able to move it with just your fingers.

Good luck
